Traditions

The sacred, the silly, and the never-fully-explained.

Placeholder content: nobody has written down the real traditions yet, so we made some up to hold the space. Circle leaders — please replace this with the actual lore using Site Admin, before someone quotes it at a campfire as fact.

What makes a tradition a tradition?

Mostly: doing it once, doing it again by accident, and then getting yelled at by an eight-year-old for trying to skip it the third year. Mighty Creek has collected a small pile of these over the decades. Here are a few, in no particular order of dignity.

Got the real stories?

If you know the actual history behind any of these — or the ones we haven't made up yet — head to the Contact page, or ask a circle leader about getting added to the Site Admin.
